Hello NYC!

On Tuesday, July 29, at 7pm, we’ll be in the Big Apple for a probing, fun conversation at Manhattan’s storied P&T Knitwear bookstore with New York Times Magazine editorial director Bill Wasik, author of “And Then There’s This” and co-author of “Rabid” and “Our Kindred Creatures.”

This event’s location has special poignancy for me, as the bookstore was founded by the grandson of two Holocaust survivors who toiled in the NYC clothing business to rebuild their lives after the war, as did my own grandfather, Sol Lackman.

Where: 180 Orchard Street between Houston + Stanton
When: Doors 6:30, conversation at 7.

Please note: This is a ticketed event—your $5 admission can be used towards books or items at the café. See you there!
